Marlow White's swords and sabers have ceremonial blades. As such, they are built to strict military regulations to be used in drills, ceremonies, and displays. These blades are of the highest quality but are not sharpened for use as a weapon.
Marlow White Buttons
We use only the highest quality "Hamilton-finish" buttons from Waterbury, another feature that sets us apart from other uniform vendors! Some uniform vendors will include the poor-quality "issue" buttons with their basic uniform price, but then add an upcharge if you desire the Hamilton-finish buttons.
The "Hamilton-finish" button uses the same general 22k gold-plating as the non-tarnish finishes used throughout the military. The "issue" button is the cheaper button used by the Army on issue uniforms, but it lacks the brilliance and color of the "Hamilton finish." Nearly all career Soldiers prefer the higher quality of the Hamilton finsh.
To give you a visual comparison of our button to one from another vendor, we photographed both of them at an identical angle with the exact same lighting. The difference in color and brilliance is obvious.
